Cleaning the Garage

Yesterday when I went to clean our garage I came across all old stuff that I had lost for months or years.

I couldn’t remember putting them in the Garage. While removing a cupboard from the garage, while I was emptying the cupboard I saw what looked very much like a Mumzel nest.

There were all kinds of small things and food scraps in it. I took the stuff away and suddenly something shoots out from behind one of the stuff. It was so fast that it was hard for me to see the creature. it jumped down quickly behind the closet.

I decided to bring the cupboard forward to see if I would see the creature. I grab the cupboard and pull it forward and behind the cupboard in a corner I see the creature sitting. He had two feelers on his head and big frightened eyes. I saw that he was trying to get away only I had screwed the cupboard so that the Mumzel was stuck in the other corner of the cupboard.

I got down on my knees and ran my arm towards the Mumzel to grab him. causing the Mumzel to crouch further. I got hold of it easily and held it in my hand so I could see it up close. with two hands I made a hole where the mumzel was in my closed hands and I could see through the top.

The Mumzel was all crouched in my hands and looked cute he felt super soft too he was all hairy and soft. I started to stroke him with my thumb, but the Mumzel remained afraid. I saw a nice spot on a shelf in the shed that I had already cleaned up and thought if I put the Mumzel on it, it will probably find a new place while I demolish the cupboard further.

I put the Mumzel on the shelf and within a few seconds the Mumzel dives right behind the stuff and away. I proceeded to tear the closet apart.

few hours later I was done and thought take a picture of the nice tidy shelves. and what i saw then..

makes my whole day..

"Do you hear strange noises on the roof at night? Don't be afraid, it's probably the Mumzels! The Mumzels are creatures that live around us at night, searching for food and items they like to take back to their nest. They can be recognized by their big eyes and feelers on their heads, but they are not easily seen by humans as they consider us dangerous. We have all experienced waking up to an empty cookie jar or misplacing something, only to find it later. This is likely the work of Mumzels in your home. The Mumzels started as a children's book in 2012 and made their way into the NFT, crypto, and Web3 world in February 2022. In addition to their own English blog website, they are also active on social media like Twitter and various NFT communities."
