Saturday Morning

Early on a Saturday morning, before the sun had fully risen, a small Mumzel lay dozing in his cozy nest. But just as he was about to drift into a deep sleep, he was suddenly awakened by strange sounds close to his nest. It was an excited buzz of activity that he had never heard before.

Curious, and a little annoyed that his sleep was disturbed, the Mumzel decided to take a cautious look from his nest. He shifted slightly and wiggled his antennae as he peeked over the edge of his nest. What he saw made his eyes grow wide with amazement. All around him were stalls, with people busily setting up. Tables were covered with colorful items, shiny objects, and the air was filled with the delightful scents of freshly baked treats.

The Mumzel couldn’t believe his eyes! So many people, so many things… It was as if he had stumbled into a dream. But he quickly realized that it was far too busy for a little creature like him to explore just yet. With a yawn, the Mumzel decided it would be wiser to turn around and catch a few more hours of sleep.

Back in his warm nest, he closed his eyes and quickly fell into a deep, peaceful sleep. Hours later, he woke up refreshed and eager to see the strange scene again. He wiggled his antennae once more and peeked over the edge of his nest to take another look. But to his great surprise, everything was gone. No stalls, no people, no items—nothing.

Confused, the Mumzel wiggled his antennae again. Had he dreamed it all? He looked once more, but everything was as it always was. The streets were empty and quiet.

“Maybe it was just a dream,” the Mumzel mumbled to himself as he nestled back into his cozy spot. But deep down, he knew the world was full of surprises, and that new adventures were always waiting for him, whether he was awake or not.

With a smile, the Mumzel drifted back to sleep, dreaming of the mysterious stalls and the exciting adventures that might still come.
